It's a nice combination, highlighted by the extremely strong "I Don't Know What to Do With My Hands."
It's quirky, it's weird, and it mostly doesn't really sound like either of them. I'd like to see them do a little more uptempo tunes, as that seems the most energetic and (IMHO) sounds the best. Counterpoint: what the hell do I know?
Minor Alps - "I Don't Know What to Do With My Hands"
Final thought: this daydreaming, mainly wistful, casually hopeful, and meandering folk/pop rock is a very good album with one great song. Fin.
CD Placement rating: Portable CD Case.
